Wild Notes: Draeger Surgery, Dowell Fight & Others Give Preseason Reactions

Nino Niederreiter scored the lone Minnesota goal in Tuesday night's 3-1 exhibition loss, which would be great if it counted in a real game. Or was the only goal against a non-Bobrovsky Columbus split squad. (Wild.com)

-2012 3rd round pick John Draeger (First Round Bust's #14 Wild prospect) is undergoing surgery for the second time this offseason.
The Michigan State sophomore defenseman previously underwent surgery in May. No word of a timetable yet. Good news, though - it went well.
