#FRB Top 20 Prospects: #15...Adam Gilmour

Adam Gilmour, Center
Boston College (NCAA)
6'3" 193 Pounds 1/29/1994
4th Round 98th Overall 2012 Draft

FRB was able to see Gilmour live last season when Muskegon came through Waterloo, Iowa in early January. We were impressed with how he played- he's an honest and defensively responsible player with a big frame and solid skating ability. However, there could be some big offensive upside to his game, as he flashed some possession skill; has the poise and vision to see passing lanes or wait til they develop, and as a big man he showed some surprising agility that created space for himself. He, along with UMD recruit Dom Toninato, were largely considered the two best drafted players in the USHL this year.
He'll head to Boston College this Fall (and we'll be able to track his progress as BC comes to Mariucci this year) where he'll continue to grow his two-way game under legendary Head Coach Jerry York.
