Ryan Suter may have finished second for the Norris Trophy, but there is a consolation for Wild fans. The 28 year-old defenseman has joined Twitter.
He is the second Wild player to recently join the social media network following goaltender Josh Harding to promote his Harding's Hope charity (@hardingshope/www.hardingshope.org).
The news was first reported by Brian Lawton (Lawton also was the first to report the Wild signed Suter) and later confirmed by Suter's agent Neil Sheehy. Suter, the most high-profile Minnesota player to publicly be on Twitter, is using the handle @rsuter20 (his jersey number).
The real Ryan Suter by the way can be followed at @rsuter20 . Wind em up on twitter and give him a follow!

I welcome ICE Hockey Agency client Ryan Suter to Twitter @rsuter20. He graciously congratulates PK Subban on winning Norris. As stated above, Ryan's first tweet was to congratulate PK Subban on winning the 2013 Norris Trophy. Subban, who scored 38 points (11G-27A) in 43 games this season for the Montreal Canadiens, defeated Suter for the award, given to the defenseman that shows the greatest "all around ability," by just 36 points and one first-place vote.

Suter led the league in time on ice while scoring 32 points (4G-28A) in a Lockout-shortened 48 games. More importantly, he was a major presence in the first year of a 13 year, $98 million contract for a Minnesota team that needed stability on the blue line.
And apparently Suter is also a landscaper.
