Gophers and Wild prospect Erik Haula are #1 in about every single poll...except USCHO where they are #2 behind defending national champion BC. Their season begins Saturday with an exhibition game against Lethbridge at Mariucci Arena.

Other WCHA teams ranked in the USCHO poll: North Dakota is at #4, Denver #8, UMD #12, Wisconsin #18 and Colorado College is 20th.

UFC on FX 5 is Friday at the Target Center and being headlined by a heavyweight fight between Antonio "Bigfoot" Silva and Travis Browne. There are plenty of fights and tickets available. (MMA Junkie)
