(Cue Atmosphere.)
The former New Jersey Devil and Minneapolis native has now found his way to the State of Hockey because in his own words, "this is where I live."
For folks that think he wouldn't fly back to Minnesota to announce he's leaving, he laughed: "this is where I live."So it's not the "coming home to announce the greatest free agent signing in Minnesota sports history" that many would like to have but more time to make a decision. Right now there is no timetable for Parise to sign and he told a group of reporters (including Russo and KSTP-TV's Chris Long) waiting for him at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport that he's much closer to picking a team than he was two days ago when free agency began.

There isn't too much else other than the fact that with all the free advertising Under Armour gets, Wheels has to be pissed off.
RIP Wheels
In Ryan Suter news, it appears that his agent Neil Sheehy spent a couple hours in St. Paul before heading out to Madison (where Suter is) to meet with the Detroit Red Wings, who have reportedly sent a jet there. So that's where we're at, tracking planes like Brett Favre is coming out of retirement.
Is it hockey season yet?
